The Hormonal Intelligence Operating System for Women.

Welcome to the age of knowing yourself. Built for the 1.1B women entering menopause globally — with zero centralized support.

The Problem

Women Are Blindly Navigating Hormonal Transitions.

Scale of the gap

50M women in the U.S. are in perimenopause or menopause — with no centralized digital platform to support them through every stage.

Productivity impact

80% report symptoms — including hot flashes, brain fog, and sleep disruption — impacting work performance. Yet hormone care remains reactive and fragmented.

Diagnostic failure

The average woman sees 3–5 providers before receiving any clarity on the source of her symptoms. Perimenopause can begin in the late 30s — rarely screened that early.

Overlapping crises

Postpartum hormone depletion and early perimenopause frequently overlap for women 38–45 — yet existing apps treat these as entirely separate conditions.

This isn't a wellness gap. It's a multi-billion dollar failure in healthcare and productivity — affecting every woman aged 38 to 65, and it's been ignored for decades.

Founders' Story

We came to Knowher from different life stages — and the same systemic failure.

At 38, one of us was navigating unexplained symptoms that overlapped postpartum recovery and early perimenopause. She was told it was "just stress."

The other was diagnosed with cervical cancer and forced into menopause through treatment — only to discover there was no structured support for what came next.

We realized this wasn't a personal gap. It was a systems gap. Millions of women aged 38–65 are navigating hormonal transitions without clarity, continuity, or predictive care.

We're building the system that should have existed for decades.

Why Now

The infrastructure exists. The data exists. The demand exists.

The intelligence layer does not. Five forces have converged to make this the exact right moment.

+

Later Parenthood

Women having children at 38–42 creates unprecedented overlap between postpartum and perimenopause — an entirely unserved cohort.

+

Wearables at Scale

Wearable adoption is at an all-time high — creating the real-time biometric data layer (including hot flash detection) that Knowher runs on.

+

AI Personalization

AI-driven personalization is now normalized and expected — the technology for our intelligence engine is ready and proven.

+

Cultural Shift

Cultural openness around menopause is finally accelerating. The stigma window is closing — the market is opening fast.

+

Employer Funding

Employers are increasingly funding women's health benefits — unlocking a B2B PMPM channel alongside DTC subscriptions.

The Flywheel

Data Density Builds the Moat.

Every woman who joins makes Knowher smarter for every other woman. The longer they stay, the better it gets — and the harder it is to leave.

01

User logs symptoms

Wearable + lab sync. Hot flash timing, intensity, duration. Every data point improves the model.

02

Dataset expands

More engagement = more data. Retention increases as personalization deepens across the 38–65 age span.

03

Predictive model improves

Recommendations become more accurate. Horizon Alerts fire earlier. Trust compounds over time.

04

Defensibility grows

Knowher builds the largest longitudinal dataset of women 38–65 navigating hormonal transition. That dataset is the moat.

Most pre-seed health platforms raise before they build. We're raising to build it right — with the team, infrastructure, and data model that makes the intelligence layer actually work. Knowher is intentionally pre-revenue. We are using pre-seed capital to build the right foundation, not rush a launch on top of an incomplete one.
